Germany-based company ZF Friedrichshafen’s IT hiring declined 5.3% in June 2022 when compared with the previous month, according to GlobalData’s Job Analytics database.

The company’s overall hiring activity declined by 4.2% in June 2022 when compared with May 2022.

IT jobs claimed a 16.81% share in the company’s total hiring activity in June 2022, and recorded a 0.07% decline over the last three-month average share.

Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers tops ZF Friedrichshafen IT hiring in June 2022

Out of the total IT job titles posted by ZF Friedrichshafen, Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers emerged as the leading occupation, recording a share of 50% in June 2022, and a 38.53% drop over May 2022, while Database and Network Administrators and Architects claimed a share of 32.09% in June 2022, and registered growth of 16.22%. Miscellaneous Computer Occupations held a share of 8.96% in June 2022, a 20% drop from May 2022.

Asia-Pacific drives IT hiring at ZF Friedrichshafen

Asia-Pacific emerged as the leading region in the global auto IT hiring activity in June 2022 with a 44.78% share, which marked a 42.86% drop over the previous month.

Europe stood next with 38.81%, registering a 20.93% month-on-month growth. North America was the third leading region with a 16.42% share and a 12% drop over May 2022.

India commanded a leading presence in the region’s auto industry IT hiring activity with a 37.31% share in June 2022, a 2.04% growth over May 2022. Germany featured next with an 18.66% share, up 8.7% over the previous month. US recorded a 14.18% share, an increase of 26.67% compared with May 2022.

Junior Level jobs lead ZF Friedrichshafen IT hiring activity in June 2022

Junior Level jobs held a share of 59.7%, down by 36% from May 2022. Mid Level positions with a 35.07% share, a growth of 27.03% compared with the previous month.

In the third place was Entry Level job ads with a 5.22% share, down 41.67% over May 2022.
