With the launch of the single-piece variant, TVS has discontinued the drum brake equipped Raider which in turn makes the former the new entry-level spec. The next variant with the split-seat is priced at Rs 94,719 while the Bluetooth connectivity equipped Smart-Xonnect variant will set you back by Rs 1 lakh.
Barring the single-piece seat, the entry-spec TVS Raider is mechanically the same as the rest of the variants. The bike is powered by a 124.8cc, single-cylinder engine that makes 11.4hp and 11.2Nm. In terms of the chassis, the bike employs a single-downtube frame, suspended by a telescopic fork and a monoshock. Braking duties are taken care of by a 240mm disc at the front wheel and a 130mm drum at the rear.
