TVS Radeon Refresh launched with digital instrumentation at Rs 59,925

The TVS Radeon now comes with fully digital instrumentation and start/stop tech, among other new features.

The updated TVS Radeon Refresh has been launched at a starting price of Rs 59,925 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which is a premium of approximately Rs. 3000 over the standard model. The Radeon was brought to the market by TVS in 2018 to take on the 110cc segment in India. Now the little commuter from the Hosur-based manufacturer has received a bunch of new features.

Updated TVS Radeon: gets fuel-saving tech

The Radeon features TVS’ Intelligo start-stop tech, which shuts off the motorcycle when at a standstill. To get it moving again, a simple twist of the throttle is all it takes. This feature will undoubtedly help in improving the fuel efficiency figures on the peppy little commuter.

A new multi-colour LCD screen is now part of the package, and it can show 18 different parameters including a real-time mileage indicator, average speed, service indicator, low-battery indicator, and a clock, among others.

Another feature available on the Radeon is a USB charging port, allowing users to charge their devices on the move.

The Radeon is offered in four variants – Base edition Drum with LCD cluster, Dual-tone edition Drum with LCD cluster, Dual-tone edition with stop/start tech and Dual-tone edition Disc with stop/start tech – all of which are available in multiple colour options. The pricing for these variants starts at Rs 59,925 and goes up to Rs 71,966 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Updated TVS Radeon: underpinnings remain the same

The Radeon continues to be propelled by the same 109.7cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine, making 8.3hp at 7,000rpm and 8.7Nm at 5,000rpm. The engine continues to be nestled inside the same single-cradle tubular frame as well. Fuel tank capacity continues to remain unchanged, at 10 litres.

Updated TVS Radeon: has many rivals

The 110cc segment is a hotly contested one in our markets and the TVS Radeon faces competition from the likes of the recently launched Hero Passion XTEC, Bajaj Platina H-gear and the Hero Splendor iSmart 110 (also featuring stop/start tech).
