Suzuki has also updated the prices of the scooters by Rs 2,000-3,000 depending on the variant.
Suzuki has announced that the Access, Avenis and Burgman Street have been updated to comply with OBD-2 and E20 norms. The 125cc scooter range is Suzuki’s first set of two-wheelers to comply with the new norms that kick in from April 2023. Expect the motorcycles to follow suit shortly. E20 compliance enables them to run on petrol blended with 20 percent ethanol.
Suzuki is the second Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer after Yamaha to introduce scooters that are compatible with the new norms.
Besides this, the company has also introduced new colours on the Avenis, namely the Metallic Sonic silver and Metallic Triton Blue. The Suzuki Burgman Street also gets a new Pearl Matte Shadow Green colour.
Prices for the Suzuki Access 125 begin from Rs 79,400 and go up to Rs 89,500 for the top-spec Ride Connect Edition. The Suzuki Avenis is priced at Rs 92,000 and you’ll have to pay an additional Rs 300 for the Race edition. Lastly, the Burgman Street and the Burgman Street Ride Connect Edition are priced at Rs 93,000 and Rs 97,000, respectively.
All scooter prices have gone up by Rs 2,000-3,000 across the range, depending on the variant.
