Tata Nexon EV Prime, Nexon EV Max Jet Editions: exterior and interior updates

Prices for the Nexon EV Prime Jet Edition starts at Rs 17.50 lakh; Nexon EV Max Jet Edition costs Rs 19.54 lakh (ex-showroom).

Following the Nexon, Harrier and Safari Jet editions, Tata Motors has now meted out the ‘Jet Edition’ treatment to the Nexon EV Prime as well as the Nexon EV Max. Priced at Rs 17.50 lakh and Rs 19.54 lakh (ex-showroom, India), respectively, the Nexon EV Prime and EV Max Jet Editions are based on the top-spec XZ+ Lux trim. Unlike the other Jet Edition SUVs, updates on the Nexon EV Prime and EV Max Jet Editions are purely cosmetic, with no upgrades on the equipment front.

  • Nexon EV Prime, EV Max Jet Editions get new bronze/silver exterior finish
  • New bronze trims panels and stitching on the inside
  • Mechanically, the SUVs remain unchanged

Tata Nexon EV, Nexon EV Max Jet Editions: exterior, interior updates

Like the other three Jet Edition SUVs, the biggest talking point on the Nexon EV Prime and Nexon EV Max Jet Editions is the ‘Starlight’ dual-tone paint finish, with a bronze body and a silver roof. Additionally, all the electric blue accents on the standard SUVs have been swapped with either gloss black or silver accents.

For instance, the belt line below the window is now finished in gloss black, while the tri-arrow elements on the bumper and the fog lamp garnish are now finished in silver. Other updates include a new dark chrome finish for the ‘EV’ logo on the grille and a new jet-black finish for the 16-inch alloy wheels.

The bronze and black theme continue on the inside as well. The dashboard and door panels get a new bronze trim, while the leatherette door pads get a new granite black finish – otherwise finished in oyster white on the standard SUVs. The electric blue accents around the AC vents and centre console have also been blacked out. Additionally, the oyster white seat upholstery gets new bronze contrast stitching. The front head restraints also have the word ‘Jet’ inscribed in bronze stitching. There are, however, no updates to the equipment list.
