Skoda Kushaq Matte Edition: rivals in India

With the introduction of the Kushaq matte edition, Skoda wants to keep the Kushaq SUV line-up fresh as there is no major update lined up for the Kushaq and the Slavia for the time being.   With the Kushaq Monte Carlo getting its due success and carving its own niche, Skoda hopes the new Kushaq matte edition will follow the Monte Carlo’s steps as far as special edition models go.  The Kushaq matte edition will continue to rival SUVs in the segment that include its platform sibling the VW Taigun, the upcoming Honda Elevate,  Kia Seltos facelift, Hyundai Creta, the Maruti Grand Vitara and the Toyota Hyryder.

Skoda India also recently conducted a study that concluded that 9 out of 10 Indian car buyers now seek models with a safety rating.  Read more on that here.
