Skoda has launched the Anniversary Edition of the Kushaq which starts from Rs 15.59 lakh for the Style 1.0 trim, going up to Rs 19.09 lakh for the Style 1.5 trim (ex-showroom, India). Launched in June 2021, the Kushaq has had a successful run in India and recently became the first midsize SUV alongside the Taigun to score a full 5-star safety rating under the new GNCAP testing protocol.

Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition: styling updates
As part of the celebrations, the Kushaq Anniversary Edition is available in all exterior colours that are offered on the standard model. Similar to the recently launched Volkswagen Taigun First Anniversary Edition, the special edition Kushaq also gets a ‘Anniversary Edition’ badge on the C-pillar and the steering wheel, new door-edge protectors, new contrast stitching, and a chrome applique across the base of the doors. Apart from these changes, the Kushaq Anniversary Edition retains the faux diffuser element on the front bumper, a sunroof, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
Skoda Kushaq Anniversary Edition: powertrain and features
The Kushaq Anniversary Edition is based on the top-spec Style 1.0 and 1.5 trims. Therefore, it is powered by the 115hp, 175Nm, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that will be mated to a 6-speed manual or torque converter automatic with paddle shifters and the 150, 250Nm, 1.5-litre, four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine that’s mated to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
In terms of features, Skoda has also reintroduced the 10-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay on the Kushaq Anniversary Edition that was previously replaced with an 8-inch unit in June 2022 due to global chip shortage. Other highlighting features of the special edition Kushaq include, traction control, 6 airbags, ESC, rain sensing wipers, automatic climate control, and cruise control.
