Total sales include 11,704 units of Super Meteor 650 and 15,071 units of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650.
It has been just over a year since the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 made its way to India and since then, 14,000 units of the cruiser have been sold in the initial ten months of fiscal year 24. With its parallel-twin lineup, Royal Enfield has conquered 97 percent of the 500cc-800cc motorcycle segment. However, the remaining three percent or 902 units is made up by Triumph Motorcycles India (463 units), India Kawasaki Motors (396 units) and Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (43 units). Moreover, an 82.50 percent YoY increase in sales has been achieved by Royal Enfield in the 500cc-800cc space.

The Super Meteor 650 is gaining its international market presence and has also made its entry into Turkey. In the current fiscal year, Royal Enfield maintains its sales strength with over 76,556 units sold domestically, a 4 percent YoY increase. However, in the preceding 10 months, it sold 7,00,829 units, up 15 percent YoY, claiming a 7 percent share of the 9.70 million-unit overall motorcycle market.
The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 shares its engine with the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. With its prices ranging between Rs 3.64 lakh- 3.94 lakh, the Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 continues to have very little competition and its closest rival on paper is the Benelli 502C (Rs 5.25 lakh).
