These special edition bikes can be had in all the same colour options as the base bikes
Both bikes remain mechanically identical to the standard bikes they’re based on which means you get the same 47hp, 52 Nm-producing oil-cooled, 648cc parallel-twin engine, mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Overseas, the Interceptor 650 Lightning edition costs £6,459 (approx Rs 6.47 lakh) and the Continental GT 650 Thunder edition will set you back by £6,659 (approx Rs 6.67 lakh). At the moment, these editions are only on sale overseas and the company hasn’t revealed any plans to launch them in India. However, customers can option their individual bikes with these accessories from the vast RE catalogue. We also recently learned that the 650 twins will soon be launched with an upgrade that owners have been asking for since day one – alloy wheels.
