Royal Enfield Announced ‘Service On Wheels’ Programme Amid COVID-19 Pandemic


Specific bike manufacturer Royal Enfield revealed on Tuesday that it has released the ‘Business on Wheels’ door repair facility for its users in the country in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Under the program , the company has distributed 800 purpose-built Royal Enfield motorcycles through dealerships across the country.

The service is aimed at providing consumers with a secure , convenient and trouble-free motorcycle service experience at their doorstep, Royal Enfield said in a statement.

The bikes using in the program are designed to carry out tools, supplies and spare parts for up to 80 per cent of all standard service and repair needs at the door of the customer, including routine servicing, minor repairs, essential component checking, new components, electrical diagnostics, and more.

“We are committed to constantly enhancing the purchase and ownership experience and the brand interface for the customer. Last year, we launched 600 new Studio Stores to take the brand retail experience all the way to tier II and tier III towns across the country,” Royal Enfield Chief Commercial Officer Lalit Malik said.

He added that the recent announcement of many business programs including ‘Business on Wheels’ aims to improve the customer’s service experience in a manner that is simple including comfortable without compromising on quality of service.

Customers can now book the ‘Delivery on Wheels’ by calling their closest Royal Enfield service store, the firm said.
