Despite the addition of new features from top-spec trim, the prices have gone down by Rs 26,000.
Renault has just updated the Kiger compact SUV with more features from the top-spec trim making its way down to the second-from-top RXT(O) trim. Additionally, the carmaker is also offering very attractive benefits on the top-spec RXZ trim. Not very long ago, Renault had also updated its entire range to comply with the BS6 Phase 2 emission norms.

Renault Kiger RXT(O): what’s new?
The Kiger RXT(O) now additionally gets 16-inch alloy wheels, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto for the 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and full-LED headlamps and tail lamps that were so far offered only in the top-spec RXZ trim.
The RXT(O) trim comes with both the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and turbo-petrol engines in both their manual and automatic guises. Interestingly, despite the addition of new features, Renault has reduced prices for this particular trim. Prices for the Kiger RXT(O) previously ranged between Rs 8.25 lakh – Rs 10.68 lakh, but now the prices start from Rs 7.99 lakh, which means it has gone down By Rs 26,000.
Renault Kiger RXZ: benefits and offers
Renault is also offering very attractive offers on the top-spec RXZ trim of the Kiger of up to Rs 91,000. This includes a cash benefit of Rs 10,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 20,000, corporate benefits of up to Rs 12,000 and loyalty benefits of up to Rs 49,000.
Renault Kiger: engine and trims
Under the hood, the Kiger is available is available with two engine options: there’s a 72hp, 1.0-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine that’s offered with either a 5-speed manual or AMT gearbox. There’s also a 100hp, 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that’s paired to either a 5-speed manual or a CVT transmission. The Kiger is available in a total of four trims: RXE, RXT, RXT(O) and RXZ.
Earlier in February 2023, Renault had updated all its models to comply the RDE emission norms and E20 fuel, which is when all models also benefitted from ESC, traction control, TPMS and hill start assist as standard across the range. The Kiger also has a 4-star safety rating from Global NCAP.
