First ever 911 hybrid also launched in India in Carrera 4 GTS guise at Rs 2.75 crore.
After its global debut earlier this week, Porsche has now started accepting bookings for the 911 facelift in India. The updated 911 (992.2) is currently available in our country in two trims – Carrera and Carrera 4 GTS.

New Porsche 911 Carrera: price, powertrains, equipment
The 2024 Porsche 911 Carrera has been priced at Rs 1.99 crore, and gets a 3.0-litre twin-turbo boxer engine putting out 394hp and 450Nm torque. This engine is mated to 8-speed PDK auto gearbox feeding power to the rear wheels.
It gets Porsche Active Suspension Management, 19-inch front and 20-inch rear wheels, 4-way adjustable sport seats with heating function, 6-piston aluminium monobloc fixed brake calipers at front and 4-piston aluminium fixed monobloc brake calipers at rear, Matrix LED headlamps, reverse camera, cruise control, two-zone auto climate control, TPMS, ISOFIX anchors and an electric sunroof as standard.

The new 911 Carrera 4 GTS costs Rs 2.75 crore, which actually makes it slightly more pricier than even the 992.1 GT3 that is still on sale, priced at Rs 2,74,96,000. It comes equipped with the new T-Hybrid powertrain. It gets a 3.6-litre six-cylinder engine with an electric turbocharger, putting out 541hp and up to 610Nm torque mated to an 8-speed PDK auto transmission. The Carrera 4 GTS gets an all-wheel drive system with rear axle steering, PASM Sport Suspension with a 10mm height drop and Porsche Torque Vectoring Plus with fully variable electronically controlled rear differential lock and fully variable torque distribution.
It comes with the Sport Chrono Package as standard that includes analogue and digital stopwatch, Sport Chrono clock with distinguishable dial, black shift paddles, Sport Plus mode, PSM Sport mode, Porsche Track Precision App, tyre temperature display, Sport Response button, integrated Sport Chrono tile with recording of lap times and telemetry data, and so on.
Over the entry-level 911 Carrera, the Carrera 4 GTS also gets a sports exhaust system, GT sports steering wheel, GTS logo on headrests, blacked-out external logos, Anthracite Grey wheels (20-inch front, 21-inch rear), SportDesign package with SportDesign side skirts and more.
