Nissan Magnite price, Geza Special Edition, features, performance and interior

Inspired by Japanese theatre, the Nissan Magnite gets a 9-inch infotainment unit and JBL speakers.

Nissan has launched a new edition of the Magnite in India. The Geza Special Edition is inspired by Japanese theatre and focuses more on the musical experience. With these updates, the special edition starts at Rs 7.39 lakh and can be booked for a token amount of Rs 11,000. 

  1.  No mechanical changes from the standard Magnite.
  2. Available only in one variant. 

Nissan Magnite Geza Special Edition: new features 

The new special edition features an updated 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, which is now wirelessly compatible with Android Auto and Apple Carplay. The unit is an inch larger than the one available in the regular Magnite. Other audio upgrades include JBL speakers, although Nissan has not clarified how many come equipped with the car. 

Just like the Red edition of the Magnite revealed last year, the Magnite Geza edition also gets ambient lighting although Nissan has also stated that it can be controlled via a phone app. The new edition of the Magnite gets Beige interior seat covers that the company says is an optional add-on. 

Two features from the regular Magnite that make their way to this special edition are a rear camera with guidelines and a Shark Fin antenna.

Nissan Magnite Geza Special Edition: engine, gearbox and colours

According to the Nissan India Website, the Magnite Geza Special Edition is available exclusively in one variant, a 72hp, 1.0-litre NA petrol mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Magnite Geza come in 5 colour options, Onyx black, Sandstone brown,  Storm white, Flare garnet red and Blade silver. 

Nissan Magnite Geza Special Edition: rivals 

The Nissan Magnite faces stiff competition in this segment from the likes of the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Renault Kiger and Tata Punch.
