Maruti Suzuki Arena line-up gets connected car tech

Maruti Suzuki has introduced Suzuki Connect as an optional accessory on its Arena line-up. This feature was already on offer on Maruti’s Nexa models as standard.

  • Features like security alerts, geo-fencing part of package  
  • Can be accessed via Suzuki Connect app
  • Includes cloud-based services and over-the-air updates

Suzuki Connect: now on six more Maruti Suzuki models

Maruti Suzuki’s Arena line-up consists the Alto, S-Presso, Swift, Dzire, Wagon R, Ertiga and the Vitara Brezza. These vehicles can now be purchased with Suzuki connect as an option.  

Suzuki Connect brings on board several connected features such as security alerts, geo-fencing,
vehicle status, navigate to car and more. Owners can also avail information such as live vehicle tracking, driving analytics report, functional alerts and road side assistance.

The features can be accessed via the Suzuki Connect smartphone app, which has been made available on both iOS and Android platforms. It is being offered as a Maruti Suzuki genuine accessory that customers can avail for a price of Rs 11,900, with three-year data subscription.

Existing Nexa customers already using Suzuki Connect can also renew the subscription at a special offer of Rs 2,299 for three years or Rs 999 for one year. So far, Suzuki Connect was already available on models like the Baleno, S-Cross, Ignis, XL6 and Ciaz.

Upcoming Maruti Suzuki launches: 2021 and beyond

As far as new launches go, Maruti Suzuki will introduce an all-new Celerio in the coming months. Additionally, a major update to the Baleno is also in the pipeline.
