Mahindra has hiked the prices for a number of their models in January 2022, including the XUV700, Thar and Scorpio SUVs. As is the case with most manufacturers, Mahindra has hiked prices at the start of the new year, most likely to account for rising operational and input costs.

-
Scorpio prices hiked by a maximum of Rs 53,000
Mahindra XUV700 price hike
The Mahindra XUV700 was one of the most anticipated models of 2021 and the carmaker surprised everyone with its aggressive starting price of Rs 11.99 lakh (ex-showroom, India). However, on the back of its great demand, the carmaker first hiked prices for the XUV700 in October 2021. Hence, this now represents the second price hike for the SUV.
The XUV700 petrol is powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, Mahindra mStallion turbo-petrol unit that’s tuned to produce 200hp and 380Nm. It is available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox options, though the entry-level MX variant is available with a manual only.
For the petrol variants, Mahindra has hiked prices of the XUV700 in the range of Rs 46,000-75,000. The base MX MT 5-seater variant gets the lowest price hike while, the range-topping AX7 AT Luxury 7-seater variant sees the highest price hike this month.
