Claimed range of 127km with large 4.6kWh battery pack.
Italian scooter icon Lambretta has given us a preview of what its first-ever production e-scooter could look like, with the Elettra concept shown at EICMA 2023. Still unmistakably a Lambretta, yet definitely a 21st century design, the Elettra is a very cool looking thing. It even gets a feature where the rear bodywork can be lifted up to reveal the mechanicals at the back of the scooter.
These include the 12-inch rear wheel and the linked monoshock, as well as the motor that’s rated for 11kW peak output. This gives it a claimed top speed of 110kph, while the claimed range figure of 127km in Eco mode comes courtesy of a fairly large 4.6kWh battery pack. Other noteworthy elements include the signature trailing link front suspension and hexagonal headlight.
This is still very much a concept though, as is indicated by the neat pop-out brake levers on the handlebar, and the rising rear bodywork. However, the fundamentals here will likely form the basis for Lambretta’s first production e-scooter, and the overall design language should be carried over as well. However, it’s unlikely that this scooter will be coming to India anytime soon.
