Venue’s 1.0-litre turbo-petrol now also gets a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Hyundai has heavily updated the Venue and Venue N Line SUVs by giving them a new gearbox for the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as well as ADAS. With the latter, the Venue is the first subcompact SUV to feature the driver assistance system.

Hyundai Venue: now with ADAS
Hyundai has introduced its ADAS suite on top-spec Venue SX(O) trim with 1.0-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines. The Venue N Line, which is available with two trims – N6 and N8 – gets ADAS across the range. Both SUVs will get ADAS features like forward collision warning, forward collision avoidance assist, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, driver attention warning, lane following assist, high beam assist and leading vehicle departure alert.
The Venue and Venue N Line now become the fourth and fifth model – following Ioniq 5, Tucson and Verna – in Hyundai’s line-up to feature the driver assistance system.
Hyundai Venue: new powertrain
Following the Venue Knight edition, the Venue and Venue N Line now also get a 6-speed manual gearbox with the 120hp, 172Nm 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Otherwise, the Venue continues with the 83hp, 114Nm, 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 116hp, 250Nm, 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. The turbo-petrol engine can also be had with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
As for the Venue N Line, it continues to get only the 120hp, 172Nm, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine with the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and now also gets the 6-speed manual gearbox.
Hyundai Venue rivals
The Venue continues to rival the newly refreshed Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Mahindra XUV300, Maruti Suzuki Fronx, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite and Renault Kiger. The Venue N Line is positioned as a more driver-focussed alternative of the standard Venue.
