While fourth and fifth generations of the Honda City are available on discounts, the new City Hybrid is not.
Honda is offering multiple discounts and benefits on the fifth-generation City, Amaze, Jazz and WR-V in August 2022. We tell you how much you can save on each car this month.

Honda City (Gen 5)
Benefits of up to Rs 27,496
The popular, spacious and feature-laden midsize sedan from the Japanese automaker, the Honda City, gets the maximum discount this month. Powered by two engine options, the 120hp, 1.5-litre VTEC petrol unit is mated to a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic, whereas the 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel is only offered with a 6-speed manual. Customers can get cash discounts of up to Rs 5,000 or free accessories worth Rs 5,496, in addition to exchange benefits and corporate discounts of up to Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively. The brand is also offering a Rs 5,000 discount on car exchange and another Rs 5,000 on customer loyalty bonus. However, Honda is not offering discounts on the recently launched City Hybrid.
Honda WR-V
Benefits of up to Rs 27,000
The crossover, which is a derivative of the Jazz, sports an increased ride height and gets unique styling cues, a spacious cabin and multiple convenience features. However, the WR-V likely to remain on sale till March 2023. The WR-V gets two engine options – a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual, and a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual. However, Honda doesn’t offer an automatic gearbox on the WR-V. Customers can avail discounts on car exchanges worth Rs 10,000 and Rs 5,000 as a loyalty bonus. Additionally, the brand is also offering exchange benefits and corporate discounts of up to Rs 7,000 and Rs 5,000, respectively.
Honda Jazz
Benefits of up to Rs 25,000
As the only premium hatchback offering from Honda, the Jazz is powered by a sole 90hp, 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine that’s mated to a 5-speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. However, the hatchback could be discontinued in the market as early as November 2022. The brand is offering car exchange bonuses worth Rs 10,000 and a customer loyalty bonus of Rs 5,000. Additionally, exchange benefits and corporate discounts of up to Rs 7,000 and Rs 3,000, respectively.
Honda Amaze
Benefits of up to Rs 8,000
The Amaze, which received a mid-life update in 2021, features updated styling cues on the exterior and a few new features on the interior. Meanwhile, the compact sedan remains mechanically unchanged as it continues to be powered by two engine options – a 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol unit, and a 100hp, (80hp in the automatic) 1.5-litre diesel engine, mated to 5-speed manual or CVT transmissions. Honda is offering a loyalty bonus and corporate discount amounting to Rs 5,000 and Rs 3,000, respectively.
Honda City (Gen 4)
Benefits of up to Rs 5,000
The brand continues to sell the previous-gen City alongside its successor, offering good interior space and a pliant ride. Being on sale since 2014, the fourth-gen City will be axed by December this year. Interested customers can get the fourth-gen City only in two petrol manual variants – specifically the SV and V trim, which is powered by the 119hp, 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine. Honda is only offering a customer loyalty bonus amounting to Rs 5,000 on the midsize sedan.
