The updates to the Xpulse 200T likely include design tweaks and the Xpulse 200’s 4-valve engine.
Hero MotoCorp has just released a teaser of its upcoming launch, the updated Xpulse 200T. The 200T is a more road-biased version of the Xpulse 200, and there are a few notable changes on the updated model.
Some of the visual changes to the Xpulse 200T’s front end includes dual-tone paintwork, and a colour-coordinated flyscreen above the headlight. The LED headlight should be the same as the Xpulse 200 4V, which is said to be brighter than the one on the previous version. One can also spot fork gaiters that were missing on the previous bike. The grab rail is new as well and is of a simpler, tubular design.
Shift your gaze to the bottom of the bike and you’ll notice a larger, more comprehensive belly pan that protects a larger portion of the engine sump and exhaust bend pipe.
The engine, meanwhile, is likely to be the same – air and oil-cooled, 4-valve, single-cylinder engine – as in the Hero Xpulse 200 and makes 19.1hp and 17.35Nm.
With the release of the teaser, the launch of the Hero Xpulse 200T is imminent. The bike will slot under the Xpulse 200 and should be priced between Rs 1.25 lakh-1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
