Only 100 units will be manufactured; production expected to start by July 2024.
Hero revealed a special edition of the Hero Karizma XMR at the Hero World event, where it also launched the Xtreme 125R and showcased the Mavrick 440. This special edition of the Karizma XMR pays homage to Hero Motocorp’s founder, Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal and celebrates his 100th birth anniversary. Limited to just 100 units, it will go on sale this July.
- Badge on fuel tank with Dr. Brijmohan Lall’s image
- Features multiple carbon fibre elements, Pirelli tyres
- Also has Akrapovic exhaust, hydraulic clutch, CNC-milled components
The Karizma CE001’s design includes a quarter-fairing, reminiscent of the original Karizma and most of the body panels are made of carbon fibre. In keeping with that theme, the Karizma CE also has a handlebar, not clip-ons like the XMR. There is a badge on the tank with Dr. Brijmohan’s face on it and the entire bike has billet-machined components such as the footpegs and even the swingarm.
The CE001 is based on the Karizma XMR and is powered by the same liquid-cooled, 210cc, single-cylinder engine. The CE001 gets very premium cycle parts such as a USD fork, an Ohlins monoshock, radial front brake caliper and it rolls on grippy Pirelli tyres too. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and even features a hydraulic actuator for the clutch. Nearly all the body panels on the Karizma CE are made of carbon fibre and it even features an Akrapovic exhaust muffler.
