Sharing a video teaser, Gensol Electric Vehicles has offered a sneak peek into its first EV that will make its debut in March 2024. The company is a subsidiary of Gensol Engineering, which offers ride-hailing players in the country with its buy-and-lease package of EV cars. Sources tell us that this vehicle will have a unique rear wheel setup with either one wheel positioned in the centre or two wheels, similar to the microlino vehicles seen in Europe.
Gensol claims its upcoming EV will have an electric range of over 200km and 80kph speed, offering a moonroof, large boot space, in-cabin driver assistance technology, fully equipped technology stack, AI-based cloud analytics and an intuitive unique user experience, among other things.
Anmol Singh Jaggi, MD of Gensol Engineering, says, “With great pride, we unveil the first glimpse of our new modern car, contributing significantly to the larger mission of decarbonising the planet.”
The company’s greenfield plant in Chakan, Pune boasts an in-plant testing track and a next-generation end-of-line vehicle testing facility, ensuring that each vehicle meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
