Fix Auto UK’s position in East Anglia has been strengthened with the appointment of three strategically placed repairers.
The network now has repair centres in Diss, Norwich and Great Yarmouth, boosting its workshop space to nearly 20,000 sq ft with the ability to repair 200 vehicles a month.
Owned by James Youngman, Bressingham Car Bodyshop will now operate as Fix Auto Diss, Norwich-based Autodoc owned by Adam Jackson has transitioned into Fix Auto West Norwich and Red Rocket Accident Repair Centre, owned by James Wilhelmsen will now operate as Fix Auto Great Yarmouth.
The appointments complement Fix Auto UK existing sites in the region including Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe, Peterborough, Chelmsford, Basildon and Braintree.
Fix Auto Great Yarmouth was formed in 1997 as an annex to the region’s leading Peugeot dealership. James took full control of the business in 2011 and rebranded it Red Rocket. He still maintains close links with the dealership and will continue to hold full approval status for the entire Stellantis stable of marques.
Fix Auto Diss was created in 2006 and is now situated in a 6,000 sq ft new purpose-built repair centre designed with a layout designed for maximum efficiency and equipped with state-of-the-art equipment. Ian Pugh, managing director for Fix Auto UK, said: “All three owners are hugely ambitious and have turned to us to help them enhance and develop their businesses, it is that ambition in a business owner we now covet, the fact all three have hugely enviable reputations for repairing vehicles to the highest calibre is a given. All three have laid out their future plans, these are truly exciting appointments as we continue to strengthen the network.”
