Renault said its “consistent results with the priorities of Renaulution” continued to progress in the growing electrified market and high value segments.
In the first half of 2022, the EV and hybrid range accounted for 36% of Renault’s passenger cars sales in Europe.
“Megane E-Tech electric is proving a real success among customers with 20,000 orders since launch,” the automaker said in a statement.
In the first half of 2022, the retail mix rose by 13 points (vs H1 2021) to reach 53%.
The automaker’s H2 C-segment sales grewing 12% year on year.
Renault said one of three sales were now electrified E-Tech models with one of every two sold retail, accounting for one of three of its C-segment sales.
“In a context of soaring energy prices and environmental challenges, Renault is strengthening its leading position on electrified markets in Europe through an attractive line-up and customer relevant technological choices,” the statement added.
