Yorkshire-focused AM100 dealer group DM Keith is readying for the official opening of its latest BYD showroom in York on 15 August, the car dealer’s third BYD site.
Last year, DM Keith was selected by the Chinese brand as its North of England retailer.
“BYD’s journey is impeccable and to join them in their dream and mission to change the automotive world is an honour and in line with our vision and values at DM Keith,” said Dougal and Angus Keith, joint managing directors, at the time.
With operations in over 50 countries globally, its collaboration with DM Keith marked a significant expansion of BYD’s presence in the United Kingdom.
With two sites already open in Leeds and a Test Drive Centre in Grimsby, a third site will support the dealership group’s ambitions to climb the ranks of the AM100.
The new showroom will be located on Wigginton Road to the north of York’s city centre. As well as showcasing the marque’s range already available to UK customers as well as the highly-anticipated luxury Yangwang U8 off roader and U9 hypercar.

To celebrate the grand opening of the new showroom, DM Keith is hosting a launch event at the site on August 15 where attendees will have the chance to explore the cars across the BYD range, enjoy live music and have the chance to win a weekend trip away.
