The Pulsar NS200 is likely to get the new digital dash that just debuted on the Pulsar N150 and N160.
Bajaj has teased an update for its aged but still popular Pulsar NS200 after launching the updated Bajaj Pulsar N150 and N160 a few days ago. This is in line with what we reported some time ago that Bajaj is planning to launch many new and updated models this year.
- Most likely will remain mechanically unchanged
- Small bump up in price when it launches
While the teaser released by Bajaj is very fast-paced and has a lot of quick cuts, making it hard to make out which bike is featured here, the engine casing and a brief view of the ‘200’ badging are clear giveaways that this is the updated Pulsar NS200.
The new digital dash that’s now found on the Pulsar N150 and N160 along with the revised switchgear is likely to be the biggest change to the Pulsar NS200. The digi-analogue display found on the NS200 is essentially the same unit that debuted in 2012 and is properly feeling its age now. Along with this, the bike’s styling could be tweaked and new colours could also be thrown into the mix.
A few weeks ago a camouflaged Bajaj Pulsar NS160 test mule was spotted with a digital display, updated switchgear and some new styling elements. This could mean that both the Pulsar NS160 and NS200 could receive a makeover and a small price bump in the coming weeks. Currently, the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is priced at Rs 1.37 lakh, while the Pulsar NS200 commands Rs 1.46 lakh.
All prices ex-showroom, Delhi.
