Audi has opened bookings for the Q8 e-tron ahead of its India launch on August 18
Audi India has announced that bookings are open for the new Q8 e-tron for a token amount of Rs 5 lakh. The electric SUV is coming to India in two trims, the 50 and 55.

Audi Q8 e-tron Powertrain, features and range
The Audi Q8 e-tron will be the flagship Audi available in the country as the 50 and 55 trims and as an SUV and Sportback under each trim. The 50 gets a 95kWh battery and can produce 340hp and 664Nm (combined). The SUV has a claimed range of 491km and the Sportback, has 505km.
The slightly more powerful 55 trim gets a larger 114kWh battery and a range of 582km and 600km for the SUV and Sportback respectively. The 55 gets more power with a combined output of 408hp and 664Nm.
Audi claims that both trims will be offered with a 22KW AC charter and will be capable of DC fast charging up to 170KW. According to the company, the car can be charged from 10-80 percent in just 31 minutes with the DC fast charging.
The Q8 e-tron comes with a 10.1-inch infotainment system and an 8.6-inch unit for controlling the HVAC system. Other features include a 16-speaker Bang and Olufsen speaker system, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, four-zone climate control and adaptive air suspension
Audi Q8 e-tron India launch and rivals
The Audi Q8 e-tron will be launched in India on August 18 and will rival the Jaguar I-Pace which is priced from Rs 1.19 crore-1.24 crore. The Mercedes Benz EQC is no longer on sale and would have also been a rival to the Audi.
