Ather Rizta prices start at Rs 1.10 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) for a limited period
Tarun Mehta, Co-founder and CEO of Ather Energy tweeted a picture of the first Rizta rolling off the production line. Ather’s Rizta was launched two months ago and is primarily a family-focused electric scooter. The Rizta is available in three variants: Rizta S, Rizta Z (2.9kWh), and the range-topping Rizta Z (3.7kWh).
The Rizta S gets a 2.9kWh battery and has a claimed range of 123km and a top speed of 80kph. The mid-spec Rizta Z has the same range and top speed as the entry-level variant but instead gets 4 more dual-tone colour options, a 7-inch TFT screen which also supports Google Maps and Bluetooth connectivity. Additionally, it also gets Ather’s SkidControl and Magic Twist, which enable traction control and regenerative braking respectively. Ather also gives the mid-spec variant a premium seat along with a backrest for the passenger. The range-topping Rizta Z gets all the previously mentioned features along with a larger 3.7kWh battery with a claimed range of 159km.
While the base and mid-spec variants need a claimed 5 hours and 45 minutes to fully charge, the top-of-the-line variant can do it in a claimed 4 hours and 30 minutes. Ather’s Rizta is available at an introductory price of Rs 1.10 lakh for the entry-level variant, Rs 1.24 lakh for the mid-spec variant, and Rs 1.44 lakh (ex-showroom Bangalore) for the range-topping Rizta.
