Ampere Primus price, features, FAME-II subsidy reduction

0

The fully in-house developed Primus has seen the largest price hike.

Ampere is the only one of the former EV sales chart-topping trio (amongst Hero Electric and Okinawa) to have maintained its earlier sales numbers and retained its eligibility for the FAME-II subsidy. However, with the reduction now in effect, here’s how the prices for the company’s products have changed.

All prices mentioned are ex-showroom, Delhi including the FAME-II subsidy.

Ampere e-scooters new prices

The most affordable product in the Ampere range is the Zeal EX, which has seen a price hike of Rs 20,900. The mid-tier Magnus EX, which is now priced at Rs 1,04,900, is now dearer by Rs 21,000. Both these e-scooters have a claimed IDC range of ‘80-100’ km on a single charge.

The Primus is the company’s first in-house offering and is also the only Ampere product to use a LFP battery. The Primus now commands Rs 1.49 lakh, which is a hike of nearly Rs 40,000, compared to its earlier price of Rs 1.09 lakh.
