Ampere Nexus India launch details
The Ampere Nexus will have four riding modes and an LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate) battery. It will also be the first Ampere e-scooter to have a front disc brake. On a previous sighting, the intended premiumness of the Nexus was seen through elements such as footpegs that sit flush with the bodywork and LED lighting all-around.

A large digital display was also seen on the Nexus on the same sighting, although it remains to be seen whether it is a TFT or LCD unit. At the Auto Expo last year, Ampere claimed that the NXG concept would have a claimed range of 120km on a single charge, although what the exact capacity is and whether that’s the certified number or a real-world claim remains unclear. The Nexus will likely use a LFP (Lithium Ferrous Phosphate) battery because Ampere claims on its website that it will have the ‘safest battery’. LFP is a chemistry that offers safer thermal characteristics but lower energy density than its more widespread NMC counterpart.
The Ampere Primus is priced at Rs 1,46,355 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and it is safe to say that the Nexus will be priced above that mark, although it remains to be seen where exactly it will slot into the market.
