Vauxhall has ushered in its new logo and an updated design on the new Crossland SUV – with order books opening today.
Prices for the updated product, which sits between the new Mokka and Grandland SUVs in the PSA Group-owned brand’s line-up, start at £19,060 for the petrol-engined version in SE trim.
The new Crossland forgoes the Mokka’s electric vehicle (EV) drivetrain option but features Vauxhall’s new ‘Vizor’ front-end and the new 2D version of its Griffin badge.
Customer deliveries are expected to start in early 2021.
Trim lines
Vauxhall’s new Vizor front-end was first introduced on the all-new Mokka and sees a single module run across the face of the new compact SUV, containing LED lights and the new Griffin logo.
Six available trims start with the SE trim and extend through SE Nav Premium (from £20,210), SRi Nav (£21,360), Elite (£22,610), Elite Nav and Ultimate Nav (£25,615).
SE comes as standard with 16-inch bi-colour wheels, LED headlights, automatic lighting, a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus Lane Departure Warning and Speed Sign Recognition.
SE Nav Premium adds front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and LED fog lights alongside upgraded seats and Vauxhall’s Multimedia Navi Pro eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with sat-nav.
Elite models feature leather seat trim, heated front seats and steering wheel as well as front and rear parking sensors with a rear-view camera, while Elite Nav models add the Multimedia Navi Pro infotainment into the mix as well as wireless mobile phone charging and a 180-degree panoramic rear-view camera.
Vauxhall’s range-topping Ultimate Nav models come with Alcantara seat trim, keyless entry and engine starting, silver roof rails.
Engine options
A range of engine options starts with an 83PS normally-aspirated 1.2-litre petrol engine.
Two further 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engines offering a choice of 110PS or 130PS, the more powerful of which is available with a six-speed automatic transmission.
Those wanting to opt for diesel power have a choice of a 110PS 1.5-litre turbocharged unit featuring a six-speed manual gearbox or a 120PS unit mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
