The new TVS electric scooter is launching on August 23 and promises to be a very sporty and tech-laden offering.
As we near the launch of the mystery TVS electric scooter that’s slated to take place tomorrow, the company has released another teaser on its social media handle and it gives us a look at how fast this new EV will be.
- Top speed seems to be 105kph
- Could be called Xonic
- Range likely to be 105km on a full charge
In the teaser, the speedometer of this upcoming TVS e-scooter is featured prominently and it seems to exceed the 100kph mark quite easily. Just before the teaser fades to black, it can be seen that the speedo reaches 105kph and stops climbing.
Another bit of information that is visible in this teaser is the range figure. At 60 percent SOC, the dash shows 63 km of range. Extrapolating that to 100 percent, we arrive at a range figure of 105 km. This is in the ballpark of the iQube’s range figure although performance is certainly going to be more sprightly here.
At the bottom of the TVS electric scooter’s dash, the word Xonic is clearly visible and this could perhaps be what this new EV could be called. Alternatively, Xonic could also be the name of the quickest riding mode on offer here. This new TVS EV will break cover tomorrow so stay tuned as we bring you all the latest updates.
