TVS Apache RR 310 naked bike price, India launch date

The naked TVS Apache RR 310 will be launched in India on September 6.

The naked derivative of the TVS Apache RR 310 has been teased again with its India launch slated to take place on September 6. Pre-bookings for this bike have also begun.

  1. Very radical and edgy styling
  2. Likely to get a range of accessories

TVS Apache RTR 310: what can be seen?

Right off the bat, we can see that this RR 310-derivative shares nothing in terms of design with the BMW G 310 R (its naked Bavarian counterpart). The headlight seems to be mounted quite a bit lower, with two separate DRL units visible in the dimly-lit teaser video.

What can be discerned, however, is that the bike in this video features winglets. The motorcycle in the teaser also features lever protectors and perhaps these will be offered as optional extras along with the aforementioned winglets. The subframe also looks like it will be very different to the Apache RR 310, and we’ve already established that it will get a low-mount number plate holder. There also appears to be a fluid reservoir on the left hand side, which is usually found on premium bikes that have a hydraulically actuated clutch. Whether this will be the first Indian bike to debut that remains to be seen.

While the styling and feature-set will likely be very different expect the mechanicals to be quite familiar to the Apache RR 310. When the TVS Apache RR 310 naked bike launches, it will rival the likes of the BMW G 310 R (Rs 2.85 lakh), Honda CB300R (Rs 2.77 lakh) and the brand-new 399cc KTM 390 Duke.
