Brixton Motorcycles is an Austrian-owned brand with a British name, whose motorcycles are manufactured in China.

Two months prior, we issued a report regarding Brixton Motorcycles’ intention to enter the Indian market. The brand has now disclosed the specific motorcycles it aims to introduce in India, which include the Crossfire 500 X, Crossfire 500 XC, Cromwell 1200, and Cromwell 1200 X models.

The Crossfire 500 X and Crossfire 500 XC share the same 486cc twin-cylinder engine, generating 47.5hp at 8,500rpm and 43Nm at 6,750rpm. The former is classified as a retro roadster, while the latter adopts a scrambler style.

Conversely, the Cromwell 1200 and Cromwell 1200 X boast a 1222cc twin-cylinder engine producing 83hp at 6,650rpm and 108Nm at 3,100rpm.

Operated by the Austrian family business KSR Group GmbH, Brixton Motorcycles Austria is in partnership with KAW Veloce Motors, a subsidiary of the KAW Group. Brixton Motorcycles is in the process of establishing a production facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, with a capacity exceeding 40,000 units.

Brixton Cromwell 1200 X

The initial batch of Brixton Motorcycles is scheduled for launch in India during the festive season, followed by plans to diversify its range and set up retail outlets in cities like Pune, Mumbai, Nashik, Chennai, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Cochin, Coimbatore, Ahmedabad, and Surat.
