What is The Valley Run?

Over the years, The Valley Run has established itself as one of India’s most anticipated drag racing events. For those unfamiliar with the format, here’s a gist: A drag race is a timed event, with the winning car or bike being the one that accelerates faster from a standstill and covers the quarter-mile-long straight in the shortest duration. Such a race doesn’t just make for a thrilling spectacle, but is also a true test of skill and reaction time.

Last year’s event saw a massive turnout of over 600 participants from all across the country. The fastest car was a modified BMW M5 tuned by Evolve Automotive and piloted by Uzair Ansari from Mumbai. The car clocked a breakneck 10.352sec, beating other tuned BMWs, the Nissan GT-R, and even a handful of Lamborghinis.
