Tesla unleashes Cybertruck at Birmingham’s Bull Ring, charging ahead in UK tour

Electric vehicle brand Tesla wowed shoppers visiting Birmingham’s Bull Ring at the weekend, showcasing the distinctive Cybertruck which is on a nationwide tour aimed at boosting the car maker’s profile.

Staff based at the Tesla’s Solihull Delivery Hub were on hand to talk about the rugged battery electric pick-up truck which, as yet, is not yet destined for sale in the UK. In addition, the opportunity to test drive a Tesla 3 was also offered with staff taking contact details on their iPad tablets.

Tesla is taking the vehicle on a Cybertruck Odyssey to high footfall locations in the UK, as well as Tesla dealerships.

It has already been to the Tesla store at Park Royal, Westfield shopping centre and King’s Cross Station in London before heading to Tesla’s Solihull dealership and the Birmingham Bull Ring shopping centre.

The Tesla Cybertruck is now on its way to Spinningfields in central Manchester, before moving to Tesla’s Manchester Central dealership.

In June it will be on display at Edinburgh’s Castle Street, then Glasgow’s Tesla dealership, before Belfast’s Tesla store on June 7.

Capable of up to 340 miles on a full charge, the Tesla Cybertruck has been designed to tow almost five tonnes and has a load bed that extends when there are no rear seat passengers to offer extra carrying capability.
