Tata Nexon EV price, Punch EV, Harrier EV launch date

Apart from the updated Nexon EV, electric versions of the Punch, Harrier and Curvv also incoming.

Tata Motors has announced its EV SUV roadmap confirming four new launches within two quarters.  The brand has confirmed as many as four new EV SUV launches that include the upcoming refreshed Nexon EVPunch EV, Harrier EV and even the Curvv SUV.

  1. Tata Nexon EV launch by late September
  2. Punch EV launch will be next 
  3. Harrier EV,  Curvv EV launches by early next year

Four new Tata EV SUVs: what are they?

Starting the proceedings will be the updated Tata Nexon EV that is expected by late September.  The Nexon EV will most likely be followed by the Punch EV that will go on sale early next year.  These will follow the launches for Harrier EV and the Curvv EV SUV as well.

Addressing the shareholders at the 77th AGM Chandrasekaran said, “Tata Motors India, as well as JLR has extensive plans on EV. We have launched a number of products already. We have a new upgraded Nexon which will be launched any time this year we will be launching Harrier, Punch, then we are launching Curvv towards the first quarter next year.”

Multiple new JLR launches lined up globally

Natrajan Chandrasekaran, the chairman of Tata Motors said by 2030, 50 percent of Tata Motors passenger vehicles and 65 percent of JLR vehicles will be run on green technology.

The chairman of Tata Motors said the company has extensive product launch plans for the passenger vehicle business as well as Jaguar Land Rover.

Elucidating the product launch plans, Chandrasekaran informed the company will be launching four new electric vehicles for Tata Motors PV business within the next few quarters to build its electric vehicle portfolio and it will start taking bookings for Range Rover and Range Rover Sport EVs next year for the international markets, before all new Jaguar EVs hit the roads in 2025.

He also assured that there is a strong portfolio of EVs planned for JLR and it will start taking orders for Range Rover from October for the international markets.
