Tata May 2023 discounts: Harrier, Safari, Altroz, Tiago, Tigor

Tata is, however, not offering any discount on any of its electric vehicles.

Tata Motors is offering discounts and benefits on select cars and SUVs for May 2023. Customers can avail consumer scheme benefits, exchange bonuses, or corporate benefits on the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Harrier and Safari. The company, however, is not offering any benefits on the Punch and Nexon SUVs, neither on any of its electric vehicles.

Tata Harrier and Safari

Save up to Rs 35,000

Tata’s flagship duo – the Harrier and the Safari – can be had with maximum benefits of up to Rs 35,000 this May. Both SUVs have an exchange discount of Rs 25,000 and a corporate discount of up to Rs 10,000, applicable on all variants. There are, however, no consumer benefit schemes on either the Harrier or the Safari.

The Safari is a diesel-only SUV powered by a single 170hp, 2.0-litre diesel motor paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. The Safari scores high on road presence, third-row space, performance and dynamics. It rivals the likes of Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700. The Harrier shares the powertrain and underpinnings with the Safari and is a spacious, well-built SUV, rivalling the MG Hector and 5-seater XUV700, among others. Prices for the Safari currently range between Rs 15.65 – 25.02 lakh, while the Harrier is priced between Rs 15 – 24.07 lakh.

Tata Tigor

Save up to Rs 33,000

Tata Motors is offering benefits worth up to Rs 33,000 on the Tigor this month. The petrol-AMT along with the CNG variants have a consumer scheme benefit of Rs 15,000 and an exchange discount of Rs 10,000. This totals up to Rs 25,000 for the automatic and CNG variants. The petrol-MT variants, meanwhile, have a consumer scheme benefit of Rs 20,000, therefore totalling up to Rs 30,000. Only the petrol versions of the Tigor can be had with an additional corporate discount of Rs 3,000.

The Tigor is powered by an 86hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine paired to either a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox. When running on CNG, the Tiago makes 70hp, and comes mated only to a 5-speed manual transmission. The Tigor rivals other compact sedans in the space like the Honda AmazeMaruti Suzuki Dzire and Hyundai Aura. The Tigor is currently priced between Rs 6.30 – 8.90 lakh.

Tata Tiago

Save up to Rs 30,000

The Tiago is available with maximum benefits of up to Rs 30,000. This includes a consumer scheme benefit of Rs 15,000 and an exchange discount of Rs 10,000 on most variants of the Tiago. The XT, XT Rhythm, NRG manual and XZ+ petrol variants have a consumer benefit worth Rs 20,000, taking total benefits up to Rs 30,000. Meanwhile, the CNG variants have a consumer scheme of Rs 10,000, which means total benefits is worth Rs 20,000 for the CNG variants. Additionally, the CNG variants of the Tiago are also legible for corporate discounts of up to Rs 5,000.

The Tiago is a hatchback sibling to the Tigor sedan, and shares its powertrain options as well. It takes on the likes of the Maruti Suzuki SwiftMaruti Suzuki Ignis and the recently facelifted Hyundai Grand i10 Nios. Prices for the Tiago currently range between Rs 5.60 – 8.11 lakh.

Tata Altroz

Save up to Rs 28,000

This month, Tata Motors is offering total benefits of up to Rs 28,000 on the Altroz hatchback. The petrol-DCT variants and all diesel variants have benefits of Rs 25,000 which includes an consumer benefit scheme of Rs 15,000 and an exchange discount of Rs 10,000. Meanwhile, the petrol-MT have a lesser consumer benefit scheme of Rs 10,000, therefore totalling up to Rs 20,000. All versions of the Altroz are also applicable for up to Rs 3,000 corporate discounts.

The premium hatchback, which rivals the Hyundai i20Toyota Glanza, and Maruti Suzuki Baleno, gets two petrol and one diesel engine option. The 86hp, 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, the 90hp, 1.5-litre diesel, and the 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine are all paired to a 5-speed manual transmission, while the naturally aspirated engine also gets the 6-speed dual clutch automatic as an option. The Altroz is currently priced between Rs 6.60 – 10.50 lakh.
