Tata Altroz XM, XM(S) trims launched at Rs 6.90 lakh

Along with the new trims, the Altroz also gets new features as standard across the range.

Tata Motors has launched two new trims for the Altroz. Its premium hatchback now gets XM & XM (S) trims, which are available only with the 1.2-petrol manual powertrain, and are priced between Rs 6.90 lakh and Rs 7.35 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). These new trims get features like sunroof, height adjustable driver’s seat and more. Additionally, other variants of the Altroz also get new features.

Tata Altroz XM, XM(S): what do they get?

The Altoz XM will come equipped with features such as steering-mounted controls, height adjustable driver’s seat, electrically adjustable wing mirrors and 16-inch steel wheels with wheel cover. In addition to this, the XM(S) also gets an electric sunroof and a 9-inch touchscreen is available as an optional extra on both trims.

Tata Altroz new features

Tata Motors also announced that all petrol manual variants of the Altroz will now get four power windows and keyless entry as standard. Additionally, the Altroz XE, XM+, XM+S and XT trims with the petrol manual powertrain also get new features.

Over and above the features the new standard mentioned earlier, the XE trim will now get follow me home lamps. The XM+ and XM+S trims now get reverse camera, height adjustable driver’s seat and cruise control. Lastly, the XT trim also gets height adjustable driver’s seat, 16-inch hyperstyle wheels and a rear defogger.

Tata Altroz rivals

The Tata Altroz rivals the Hyundai i20 (Rs 7.46 lakh – 11.88 lakh), Maruti Suzuki Baleno (Rs 6.61 lakh – 9.88 lakh) and Toyota Glanza (Rs 6.81 lakh – 10.00 lakh). 

Tata SUV price hike

Tata Motors had also announced a price hike of 0.6 percent – up to Rs 20,000 – on the Nexon, Harrier and Safari. However, SUVs booked before July 16, 2023 will be exempted from this price hike.
