S&S Services and Tweedmouth Service Station among best Subaru dealers

Ayr-based franchised dealer S&S Services has been named Subaru UK’s Retailer of the Year, in recognition of its superb levels of vehicle sales, customer service, finance and aftersales.

Subaru UK gathered its franchisees at its annual dealer conference and awards in Harrogate recently.

Tweedmouth Service Station in Berwick Upon Tweed collected the inaugural Retailer Community Award in praise of its work to cement the dealership in its local community in various ways such as local sports sponsorship and supporting a local cancer charity, providing vehicles free of charge to transport patients to vital hospital appointments, along with various other fundraising activities.

Unity Automotive’s general sales manager Jonny Aston was named the Subaru Rising Star of 2023, for his work driving the dealership to operate at the highest level and in supporting its wider team in all business areas.

A Special Appreciation Award was presented to David Tuach (pictured) from Aird Motors Subaru, who has been partnering Subaru almost from the beginning and, over the years, has consistently delivered the highest level of support and passion for the brand and played a vital role in Aird Motors Subaru being a reliable top 10 performing dealer in sales, aftersales and customer service. 

“It was a pleasure to host this annual event, alongside my UK and European colleagues, to provide recognition to our retail partners for their achievements and commitment to excellence,” said Lorraine Bishton, managing director at Subaru (UK).

“We saw some particularly deserving awardees this year, especially those making a real difference in their local communities and our individual Rising Star winner.”
