Speed 400 price, delivery details, engine, features

The booking amount for the Speed 400 has risen to Rs 10,000 from the earlier Rs 2,000.

Dispatches of the hugely impressive Triumph Speed 400 have begun from Bajaj’s Chakan-2 manufacturing plant, with customer deliveries all set to begin by the end of this month. According to our dealer sources, deliveries will most likely begin from August 1.

Just a few days after bookings for both the Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X were opened, the company confirmed that they had received more than 10,000 bookings, split between the two bikes. Currently, the company has only launched the Speed 400 in India, with the Scrambler 400 X slated for an October launch.

We have also managed to get our hands on the on-road prices of the Speed 400 in most major cities of India, and to read more about that, click here. Both the Speed 400 and the Scrambler 400 X are available with a bunch of official accessories, ranging from aesthetic to functional and to read more about that, click here.

Since the Speed 400 is priced very close to the RE Classic 350 and has a similar form factor as the popular Hunter 350, we pitted the three against each other in the real world and to see our video comparison, click here.

And since the Speed 400 is very closely specced to the riotous KTM 390 Duke, we stacked the two against each other and to see that video, click here.
