Skoda service periods and warranties extended till July 31

Skoda Auto India has become the latest manufacturer to extend the validity of its warranty and service periods for customers. This is being done in order to aid customers during this second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic in India. Carmakers who’ve already offered such extensions to customers include Mahindra, Volkswagen, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Renault, Tata, Maruti Suzuki, and Toyota.

  • Pre-paid service plans due to expire between April and June are also valid till July 31, 2021

  • Roadside assistance policies expiring between April and May now valid till June 30, 2021

Skoda has extended the validity of the warranties, scheduled services and pre-paid service plans, which were due to expire between April and June, till July 31. Furthermore, the carmaker has also extended the validity of the roadside assistance policies, which were due to expire between April and May, till June 30. 

Speaking about the initiative, Zac Hollis, brand director, Skoda Auto India, said, “Our priority at Skoda Auto India is to provide continued support to our customers during such unprecedented times. Hence, we have decided to extend our warranty, Schedule Maintenance Services and SuperCare Maintenance Plans, which were due between April and June, to July 31, 2021. We are also extending our roadside assistance policies, which would otherwise expire between April and May, until June 30, 2021.”

Skoda Auto India is gearing up to launch the much-awaited Kushaq midsize SUV in the coming weeks. The company recently announced that it had completed the road testing of the SUV in India, ahead of its launch. The Czech automaker will also introduce the new-gen Octavia sedan in our market soon. Following these two, Skoda will also launch the facelifted Kodiaq SUV later this year.
