Royal Enfield Classic 350 price hiked

Royal Enfield has increased the price of its popular Classic 350 in India.

  • Crosses the Rs 2 lakh mark for the first time

  • Second price hike for the Classic 350 this year

  • Next-gen Classic 350 expected to replace it soon

Aside from the Bajaj Dominar 250 and Yamaha FZ25, prices for two-wheelers in India are on the rise. Royal Enfield’s popular Classic 350 is one of the recent ones to join the list. Prices for it have gone up by around Rs 7,000-8,000, depending on the colour option. This price hike has also caused it to cross the Rs 2 lakh ex-showroom mark for the first time.

Just over a month ago, the next-gen Classic 350 was spotted in near-production-ready form. The upcoming next-gen Classic 350 will use the 349cc, single-cylinder J-platform engine that debuted on the Meteor 350 last year. Apart from that, the Classic will also share the Meteor’s stylish retro switchgear, and get a Tripper navigation pod. One can expect this update to increase the cost even more.

The current model is available with either single-channel ABS or a dual-channel system, and both have gone up in price.
