Omoda, the new Chinese brand launching in the UK next year, will support its new models with a seven year/100,000 mile warranty.
Omoda has already signed franchise agreements with retailers like Endeavour Automotive, Listers and Peter Vardy.
All Omoda 5 models will come with the seven-year/100,000-mile warranty and seven-year service price cap.
This is complemented by seven years of roadside assistance, automatically renewed with each service at Omoda’s retail and aftersales partners.
Chen Chunqing, chief executive Omoda UK, said: “Omoda’s entry into the UK vehicle market is taking shape with a comprehensive network of retail and aftersales outlets located at key urban areas throughout the UK.
“With the launch of our exciting, young, and futuristic Omoda models drawing near, we’re looking forward to announcing our launch date and additional retail locations in the coming months.
“With an initial 50 expert retail and aftersales partners at launch in March 2024, we’re laying the foundation for a robust Omoda brand presence.
“Our goal is to expand to 100 locations by the end of 2024, introducing new and innovative products along the way.”
The Omoda 5 comes with a EURO NCAP five star safety rating and includes connectivity features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless charging, alongside smart voice commands to operate vehicle functions, a 10.25-inch touch screen, remote start and keyless entry.
The launch model will also feature a suite of 16 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) including adaptive cruise control.
The new model will initially launch with a 1.6 petrol model starting at £24,000 from March next year and a 280 mile range electric version will follow later next in the year.
