Maruti Fronx price, discounts on Fronx, Jimny, Grand Vitara, Maruti discounts February 2024

Most Nexa Dealers are offering additional discounts over and above of what’s listed officially.

Maruti Suzuki has been offering very attractive discounts for several months now, especially on some popular models such as the Jimny, Grand Vitara and Fronx. The benefits have been particularly very high on unsold MY2023 Nexa model as dealers are high on inventory, and are desperately trying to push sales.

Why Maruti dealers are offering high discounts?

Our dealer sources says that the company had aggressively been pushing inventory into dealerships in the last few months of 2023 in order to clear stocks off the plant. Retail sales on ground, however, didn’t see a corresponding jump, which means dealers were left with high inventory levels. Maruti dealers, therefore, tried pushing sales with aggressive year-end schemes.

Even as the calendar rolled on to the next year, a large number of Maruti dealers were left with substantial unsold MY2023 stocks. And this is not pertaining to a few specific regions, but in most places across the nation. So, with high levels of unsold stock, dealers are currently facing liquidity issues, and do not have the cash to procure the newer MY2024 models. Most Maruti MY2023 models, therefore, continue to be available with very attractive consumers offers.

Maruti Nexa February 2024 offers

As we had reported earlier this month, unsold MY2023 stocks of the Grand Vitara hybrid and the turbo-petrol variants of the Fronx are available with benefits of Rs 79,000 and Rs 83,000, respectively. Beyond what is officially listed, Maruti dealers are offering around Rs 50,000 additional cash discount on all models to further incentivise sales. Therefore, one can avail a minimum of Rs 1.30 lakh on the said variants of Grand Vitara and Fronx.

Similarly, MY2023 units of the Ignis and Ciaz are offially listed with Rs 61,000 and Rs 48,000 off, respectively. However, a ground level check confirms that both models have over Rs 1 lakh in discounts at most locations.

But the highest benefits continue to be on MY2023 Jimny. Apart from official discounts of Rs 1.50 lakh, Maruti Suzuki even temporarily slashed prices with the Thunder Edition to push Jimny sales. While the Thunder Edition offers have now been discontinued, dealers are still offering Rs 50,000 off over and above what’s listed officially. Stocks of MY2023 Jimny, however, are scarce as most discounted units have been lapped up by buyers, paying around Rs 3.5 lakh lesser the original sticker price.
