Mahindra XUV300, Bolero, Scorpio N, XUV700 discounts, May 2024

Unsold MY2023 XUV400 EVs, XUV700s and Scorpio-Ns still get well over a lakh worth of benefits in May 2024.

Even in the fifth month of 2024, Mahindra still seems to have a decent backlog of unsold MY2023 SUVs – including the XUV400 EV, XUV300, XUV700 and Scorpio-N – which has prompted the massive discounts and benefits on these models to continue. In fact, the big cash discounts on the MY2023 XUV700 and Scorpio-N remain the same, while benefits on the XUV300 have increased. Here’s how much you could save on your new Mahindra SUV this month. Do note that there are no discounts available on the Scorpio, newly launched XUV 3XO, and the Thar, during May 2024.

Mahindra XUV300 discounts in May 2024

 

With the launch of the new XUV 3XO, which is essentially the facelift for the XUV300 compact SUV, the latter is available with up to Rs 1.79 lakh in discounts and benefits, which is an increase of about Rs 20,000 over last month’s discounts. The benefits come in the form of cash discounts, official accessories and extended warranty. The top-spec XUV300 W8 diesel variants have the maximum benefits, while W8 petrol trims get up to Rs 1.59 lakh off. The W6, W4 and W2 variants have benefits up to Rs 1.33 lakh, Rs 95,000 and Rs 45,000, respectively.

The XUV300 was available with five powertrain options. The engine options include a 110hp, 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine; a 117hp, 1.5-litre diesel; and a 131hp, 1.2-litre direct-injection turbo-petrol unit. The 131hp unit was available only with a manual gearbox, while the other two got AMT options.

Mahindra XUV400 discounts in May 2024

It seems like the SUV specialist still has remaining inventory of MY2023 XUV400 EVs, which is why buyers can avail massive Rs 4.4 lakh worth of benefits on the all-electric SUV. The XUV400 EL with ESC made last year has a lower Rs 3.4 lakh off. Meanwhile, the heavily updated XUV400, which arrived in January this year and comes with a PRO suffix, can also be had with benefits up to Rs 1.4 lakh, depending on the variant, battery pack and charging capability selected.

Currently priced between Rs 15.49 lakh-17.49 lakh, the XUV400 EV is available in EC and EL trims; the former gets a 34.5kWh battery with a 3.3kW charger, while the latter gets 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh options with a 7.2kW charger standard. The XUV400 has a range of up to 375km for the smaller battery, and 456km for the larger battery.

Mahindra XUV700 discounts in May 2024

Discounts on Mahindra’s flagship SUV continue, with a flat Rs 1.5 lakh in cash discounts available on select MY2023 variants. The maximum discount is available for all variants, except for the AX5 7-seater diesel in manual and automatic form, and the AX5 7-seater petrol-manual; these trims get a Rs 1.3 lakh cash discount. The company is not offering any benefits on the MY2024 XUV700.

The XUV700 is powered by either a 200hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine or a 2.2-litre turbo-diesel engine in two states of tune – 156hp and 360Nm in the entry-level variants, and 185hp and 420Nm (450Nm with AT) on the higher-spec variants. Both engines are mated to a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. However, only the diesel engine gets an all-wheel drive option. Prices for the Mahindra XUV700 range between Rs 13.99 lakh-27.14 lakh (ex-showroom India).

Mahindra has recently introduced a top-spec Blaze variant for the SUV, and will soon bring a new entry-level seven-seat version as well.

Mahindra Scorpio-N discounts in May 2024

Like the XUV700, the same discounts available last month on the Scorpio-N are also on offer this month – MY2023 models have a Rs 1 lakh cash discount, albeit only for the top-spec Z8 and Z8L diesel variants with 4WD. The Z8 and Z8L in petrol and diesel form with rear-wheel drive have a lower Rs 60,000 discount. There aren’t any benefits on the MY2024 Scorpio-N.

The Scorpio N has two engine options – a 203hp, 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 175hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine. Both can be had with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox. While the Scorpio N comes with rear-wheel drive as standard, diesel versions get a four-wheel drive option.

Prices for the Scorpio N currently range between Rs 13.60 lakh-24.54 lakh (ex-showroom, India). While the SUV doesn’t have a direct rival, its price sees it competes with the likes of the Tata SafariMahindra XUV700MG Hector Plus and Hyundai Alcazar.

Mahindra Marazzo discounts in May 2024

All three variants of Mahindra’s MPV also get up to Rs 93,200 in benefits this month, which includes a cash discount, exchange benefits, corporate discounts and accessories worth Rs 20,000. The Marazzo is on offer in M2, M4+ and M6+ trims, all of which are powered by a 123hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, which comes with a 5-speed manual as standard. Prices currently start at Rs 14.39 lakh and go up to Rs 16.80 lakh.

Mahindra Bolero Neo discounts in May 2024

The Bolero Neo ladder-frame seven-seat compact SUV, which is priced between Rs 9.90-12.15 lakh, is available with total discounts to the tune of Rs 83,000 this month. That benefit, which includes a direct discount, exchange bonus, corporate discounts, accessories and extended warranty, is on offer with the top-spec N10 variants. Mid-spec Bolero Neo N8 and entry-level N4 trims have up to Rs 64,000 and Rs 56,000 off, respectively.

The Neo is powered by a 100hp, 1.5-litre diesel mill that comes with a manual gearbox only. Recently, Mahindra launched the nine-seat Bolero Neo+, priced between Rs 11.39 lakh and Rs 12.49 lakh.

Mahindra Bolero discounts in May 2024

The range-topping B6 OPT variant of Mahindra’s stalwart workhorse, the Bolero, has up to Rs 82,000 in total benefits this month, including a cash discount, exchange benefits, corporate discounts, accessories and extended warranty. Up to Rs 48,000 and Rs 61,000 can be availed on the mid-spec B6 and entry-level B4 trims during May.

Powered by a 76hp, 1.5-litre diesel engine, the Bolero is currently priced between Rs 9.90-10.91 lakh. Mahindra’s oldest model that’s still on sale is due a generation change – the brand is working on the next-gen model, which is expected to arrive in 2026.
