Koenigsegg Regera price and powertrain
The Koenigsegg Regera costs $2 million (around Rs 16.4 crore) and is powered by a V8 along with three electric motors to provide a combined 1,500hp on premium E85 fuel. The car also features a Koenigsegg Direct Drive (KDD) that, the company says, can reduce energy losses by up to 50 percent compared with traditional transmissions and CVTs.
Koenigsegg line-up
Koenigsegg is yet to test the Jesko, which is powered by a heavily reworked version of the car manufacturer’s own V8 petrol engine that has a forged crankshaft and twin turbochargers to cut down on lag. Power is quoted as 1,600hp and 2,177 Nm of torque, which results in the possibility of this record being broken again by Koenigsegg itself.
