Facelift will bring fresh looks and more features to Kia’s stylish EV crossover.
Kia is already working on a major styling update for the EV6, which made its global debut in 2021. The EV6 already sports a futuristic and stylish look, but it seems Kia wants to update the car to bring its styling in-line with the brand’s other EV models.

Kia EV6 facelift: what do the spy shots show?
This EV6 mule was caught in a parking lot in South Korea, and while it is heavily covered, some design details that will be seen on the facelift are visible. While the overall bodyshell of the car will remain the same, Kia seems to be focusing on the car’s front styling, a section that will see a complete overhaul with this facelift.
The front-end will have a flatter look, similar to what features on newer Kia EVs like the EV4, EV5, and EV9. There will likely be a light bar running across the width of the car, and the headlamp will switch to a vertical layout instead of a horizontal setup seen on the current EV6. This will help give the EV6 the same visual identity as the newer crop of Kia EVs.
Apart from this, and minor tweaks to the front and rear bumpers, we don’t expect any major styling revisions to the fairly new EV6. There could be some tech updates as well, however, those details are not yet known.
Kia EV6 facelift: global debut timeline
We are told that the Kia EV6 facelift’s global debut is still some time away, and it will be safe to assume the car will be unveiled first in its home market of South Korea sometime in late 2024. Other markets will see a launch by end-2024 or early 2025.
