Being a finalist in the AM Awards is a brand-booster for dealerships and individuals running them. The 2020 General Manager of the Year winner, Helen Price, went on to join supercar manufacturer McLaren as its regional sales manager for western Europe.
East Anglian dealer group Holden’s win of the AM People Investor Award in 2019 was a proud moment for its boss Tim Holden. “I think it was great way to celebrate the company’s achievements with some of the employees who played a part in helping develop such a great culture. It was a fun night out and it’s always nice to get some industry recognition for the bits we do really well.”
And taking back the Best Marketing Strategy trophy in 2021 to her team was a great highlight for Julia Greenhough, marketing director at TrustFord. “Winning the AM Award is hugely rewarding. It’s great for everybody involved and makes them feel those tougher times and the hard work that’s gone in has paid off. It gives a warm feeling to everyone no matter what their role is within the business,” she said.
