Hyundai previews Seven SUV EV concept

Hyundai Motor has previewed its upcoming Seven battery powered SUV concept, scheduled to be unveiled at the AutoMobility LA show in the US later this month.

Hyundai said the Seven heralds design and technology innovation which in its planned all-electric SUVs.

The concept has a purpose-built EV platform and new interior architecture “evoking a premium lounge experience”.

The interior includes furnishings trimmed in sustainable materials and offers a “refined, eco-friendly mobility experience that reflects the changing lifestyles of its customers”, according to the automaker.

The Seven is built on Hyundai Motor Group’s E-GMP platform, first used in mass production under the Ioniq 5 BEV mid size crossover earlier this year. The Seven also carried over design cues from the first Ioniq.

Hyundai said it would announce further details of the actual production vehicle and pricing information at the Los Angeles show which starts on 19 November.
