Hyundai will unveil the India-spec i20 N Line on August 24, 2021. The i20 N Line will sit above the standard i20 line-up in India. Prices for the i20 N Line will be announced by September, according to sources.

Hyundai i20 N Line for India: engine, powertrain, variant details
For India, Hyundai will introduce the i20 N Line in three variants, starting with the N6 variant with an iMT gearbox. The top-spec N8 variant can be had with either an iMT or a DCT automatic. There will be no manual transmission on offer. A 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine will power the India-bound i20 NLine. As far as mechanicals go, the i20 N Line will more or less be similar to the standard car.However,it will be accompanied by a sportier exhaust note and suspension setup.
Hyundai i20 N Line for India: exterior, interior details
As reported by us earlier, the N Line range is a step below the full-blown Hyundai N range of performance-oriented cars. This meansthat the i20 N Line, like other N Line models sold overseas, will get multiple unique bits on the outside and inside to differentiate it from the standard Hyundai i20.
The front and rear bumpers get a sporty look with the front grille getting a chequered flag pattern. It also gets front and side skirts and a prominent rear diffuser on the bumper. Additionally, the i20 N Line will also get twin exhaust tips and contrasting black bits on the exterior along with larger alloy wheels. The interior of the i20 N Line gets prominent N badging, sportier front seats, a bespoke steering wheel, aluminum pedals and an N-branded gear knob.
Hyundai i20 N Line for India: launch timeline, expected price
We expect Hyundai to commence bookings for the i20 N Line sometime next week with a price announcement and market launch expected in September. Sources tell us that the sportier looking i20 N Line could be priced around Rs 1-1.5 lakh more than the current i20 range.
